Welcome to our latest blog post! We’re excited to bring you the July update for the Yeastar P-Series Phone System. This month’s release includes several new features and enhancements designed to meet your diverse needs and improve your system’s efficiency and flexibility. Here’s what’s new:
Remote Archiving
Running out of storage space? Now you can use Remote Archiving to sync call recordings and system backups to external servers such as Google Cloud Storage, Amazon S3, and FTP/SFTP servers.
- Boost System Performance: Use the “Auto Cleanup” feature in “System > Storage” to move old and less frequently accessed data to remote servers, improving system performance.
- Remote Access: Access archives from anywhere with an internet connection, offering flexibility for administrators.
How It Works:
- Navigate to “System > Archive” in the Management Portal.
- Each P-Series PBX can connect to up to 10 external archive servers.
- Choose between one-time or scheduled archiving.
Upon task completion, a new folder (named with the file type, task name, and sync date) is created on the connected archive server for easy identification. Email notifications will be sent to designated contacts upon task completion or failure.
Destination-specific MoH, Greetings, & Ringback Tone
Personalize Customer Interaction: Customize Music on Hold (MoH), welcome prompts, and ringback tones for extensions and ring groups to ensure a professional image for businesses with multiple brands.
Updates on Linkus Mobile Client
Queue Log in/out: A new button allows agents to log in, log out, pause, and unpause from queues with one click, enhancing remote work efficiency.
Call Emergency Numbers via SIM: Enable calling emergency numbers through the GSM dialer by configuring “Call Emergency via Mobile Number” in “Settings > Advanced”.

Debian 12 Support for P-Series Software Edition: Install P-Series Software Edition on Debian 12 for enhanced performance and security.
Install from Major Cloud Platforms: Deploy P-Series Software Edition from AWS Marketplace, AWS Lightsail, OVHCloud, and HETZNER via command line tools.
New API Interface for Voicemail & System Logs: Enhanced integration with new API interfaces for Voicemail and System Logs.
CRM Call Popup Trigger Configuration: Customize events that trigger the Call Popup feature in CRM integration from the Management Portal.
Optimized Agent View for Queue Panel: A compact view for the agent module in the Queue Panel allows more agents to be displayed, ideal for large call centers.
Contact Matching on Operator Panel: Improved call handling efficiency with optimized matching of personal/company contacts.
Search by Last Names in Dial by Name: Enhanced search functionality by last names, making it easier to find the right contacts.
